This is despite the fact that Google’s own Head of Webspam saying that there wouldn’t be PageRank update for the rest of 2014, and rumors that it would be retired.
Obviously, we should be chasing quality content above PageRank numbers, but that doesn’t PageRank is not entirely useless in helping you to assess your site performance. It also contributes to the likelihood that your website will come out on top of the search engine results page (SERP), which can drive lots of traffic into your page.
In a nutshell, seriously, check Google PageRank now!
PS. I’m really excited as this is my first time seeing my own PageRank. And… Scarlet Scribbles is PR3! Finally got rid of that N/A. =)
