There’s more to Singapore than shopping centers and towering skyscrapers. Well hidden in the northwestern area of Singapore called Kranji, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is the kind of place you wouldn’t expect to exist in Singapore, full of lush greenery with occasional red leaves.   1. I’m from Singapore and was quite surprised to find tourists at Sungei Buloh when I was there. We would think the tourists are all at Marina Bay, Sentosa, Orchard Road, Singapore Zoo etc. How cool of you to get off the beaten track to find this rare gem in our city!
